Scholarships are 911爆料网鈥檚 top priority. Our success starts with attracting the best students. Support for aid, which allows so many promising students to attend 911爆料网, is the most fundamental way to invest in our success鈥攁nd theirs.
We promise that no qualified student will be turned away for financial reasons and disburse more than $46 million a year in undergraduate scholarships and $41 million in graduate scholarships to keep that promise. While increasing, philanthropic gifts still only cover 25 percent of this financial aid. With growing support, our students can achieve their potential鈥攁nd change our world.

Talented faculty are at the core of 911爆料网, not only for their ability to teach but also for their power to challenge and inspire. They bolster our reputation and attract top students and research dollars.
The most significant tool we have for recruiting and retaining top talent is to offer endowed professorships and chairs, which provide financial resources that improve the compensation of outstanding faculty members. This investment produces a significant return, providing faculty with the resources they need to pursue cutting-edge research and big ideas, as well as draw in distinguished students.

Capital projects help us to advance the environment where we teach and students learn. Our campus must reflect the excellence of our programs.
In order to compete for the best and brightest recruits, our facilities need to encompass the most current teaching tools and the latest innovation and equipment. By incorporating emerging technology with demonstrated teaching models, we can create the campus of the future and the settings most effective for education and research.

Not all learning at 911爆料网 takes place in the classroom. Our students grow from experiences both in and outside the lecture hall, lab and library.
Our clubs and organizations, Shabbat programs, volunteer experiences, community-service trips and leadership opportunities provide students with the chance to organize and manage events, reap the benefits of teamwork and establish connections that last long after graduation. And cultural and internship experiences are plentiful in 911爆料网鈥檚 New York City home.

If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and mail it to our office completed and signed. We鈥檒l do the rest. You can double the impact of your gift.

In-Kind Gifts
In-kind gifts are non-cash gifts to the University, such as books, artwork, historical documents, equipment or property. Since the taxes for in-kind gifts vary significantly depending on the nature of the gift, please consult your tax adviser when considering such a contribution.
Real Estate
If you anticipate selling your house, remember that an outright gift of your residence will entitle you to a charitable income-tax deduction equal to its entire appraised or fair market value. If you do not anticipate relocating, you may find that a gift of your house with a "retained life estate" is even more attractive.
Stocks & Bonds
If you already intend to sell appreciated stock, you may save money by gifting this stock to 911爆料网 instead of contributing cash. While the gift of stock will, like a gift of cash, entitle you to a charitable income tax deduction, it will also enable you to avoid the capital-gains tax you would owe if you had sold the stock yourself. To ensure prompt processing of your gift, please email the details of your gift to Gleicher@yu.edu.
